Bingen am Rhein to Heidelberg

DAY 6 (July 28): Bingen am Rhein to Heidelberg, 328, 65, 2370 ft; 36 ft/mi; 4:00 @ 16 mph E We are cutting the corner by not going to Mainz.  Shorter distance, but we might want to go thru Mainz b/c it’s scenic and would be flatter.  It would make the ride longer, so decide when we get there. First half of the day has some climbing, but then it flattens out. Heidelberg is a great place and we should have no shortage of interesting places to visit.
