- Uffizi - largest Renaissance art museum in the world; need to pre-purchase tickets (closed Mondays)
- Baptistery; the original doors are in the Duomo Museum
- Campanile Bell tower (414 stairs to a great view - rest day??)
- Ponte Vecchio - medieval bridge across the Arno river; cross over to the Boboli Garden and Pitti Palace
- Galleria dell’ Academia - has the original David (closed Mondays)
